The brief
Largam Works, a retailer known for their high-quality workwear, formerly operated their online store using an outdated ecommerce platform.
This system needed an upgrade for two primary reasons: first, it had become incompatible with several devices used for its operation, and second, it couldn't meet the modern requirements of an online store in today's ecommerce environment.
Challenges
Facing this project presented a captivating opportunity for me. The business's modest scale and the antiquated nature of their previous system granted me substantial creative control. While the store owner had conceptual ideas, it was my responsibility to define the course of development for the system.
The primary obstacle I encountered was the need to maintain Largam Works' satisfaction with the project's direction. Achieving this demanded consistent and transparent communication, involving regular updates and reporting to keep them in the loop.
Results
The combination of creative direction and effective client communication allowed me to offer a wide array of solutions. Initially, I crafted a Shopify store to showcase Largam Works' products. Additionally, I brought in a new warehouse fulfillment company to streamline their logistics.
In an effort to exceed the client's expectations, I also enlisted the services of a social media management agency to enhance advertising efforts. Furthermore, I arranged for a professional photographer to create engaging content for the company's social media profiles.
To expand the business's online presence, I established additional digital touchpoints. This included setting up Google Shopping, launching multiple AdWords campaigns, and implementing various SEO initiatives aimed at extending the reach of the brand.
These factors brought a significant modernization to Largam Works, resulting in increased engagement, sales, and revenue for the business. This exemplifies my capacity to take on projects lacking clear direction, envisioning a new path and successfully implementing it.
